Hi there! I’m Rigel Jackson and I am a Portrait Photographer based in Muncie, Indiana. I specialize in photographing women of all ages and I love helping them see themselves confident and beautiful, I want my clients to see themselves in a new light!
I created a portrait experience that many of my clients have said it’s better than therapy and so much fun! I usually prepare my clients by telling them that it’s a vulnerable experience for sure but it can also be truly transformative if you come with an open mind and heart.
My clients are women who are doing the work of accepting and loving themselves, practicing honoring themselves daily, they are changing their world! They want a more authentic life, filled with more courage and adventure. They are learning to honor themselves by doing things that elevate their souls, they are creating a beautiful legacy for their families.
Why only women?
Mainly because of my personal experience. For most of my life I felt like I was not photogenic and I hid from the camera by shielding myself with it. Every time I had a photo taken I felt like that person didn’t look like me, it made me feel self-conscious and I started believing I was not capable of looking good in photos, and being a girl, of course, I made that mean I was not beautiful and therefore not valuable. Over the years and through a lot of selfie exercises I no longer view myself that way and I have learned the way to pose, light and reflect every woman’s beauty back to her!
Another reason, I believe in Women. I believe women are capable and strong. Our local women are leading homes, businesses and our community and I want to help them elevate themselves through images that they will be proud to use to market themselves and reach their goals!
I know that as every day women we face an unfair beauty standard! I want to show you though, that there is no standard to meet, that you are truly beautiful and worthy of having a magazine style portrait session where you look like the best version of yourself and most importantly, your light shines through!
