I am Rigel Jackson, a Portrait Photographer, based in Muncie, Indiana. Last year I created and launched the “Empowered Portraits” campaign and it was so much fun to photograph and to get to know 40 amazing women by showing them what their confidence and beauty looks like through a portrait experience.
Last year was my first year in business, I learned so much! Never have I ever been forced to grow and discover what is truly in my heart as this past year while building a business and focusing on serving my clients, taking care of my family and myself, what a ride!
As a result, this year, I am launching a new campaign, “Wholehearted Portraits” I want to invite 50 women, 30 years and over that have been or are going through their own journeys of discovering what lies in their hearts. Women who have overcome challenges and loss, or are living intentionally and consistently to become who they want to be.
I want to record your story in a magazine! I am always inspired by books that tell women’s stories, they elevate my thoughts of what’s possible for me as a woman, they allow me to see how other women are becoming the more polished versions of themselves.
Your story may not be building a business, it could be overcoming personal challenges or intentionally going on growth adventures, or overcoming your circumstances. You may feel your story is too simple and plain to tell, it isn’t, it is profound and life changing, sharing it could inspire someone else!
